Este 19 y 20 de noviembre se realizó el primer evento “The Table” en el City Hall de Londres que contó con 135 jugadores que no pagaron ningún buy in por tratarse de un torneo por invitación. El premio a repartir superaba el medio millón de dólares y USD$250.000 eran para el primer lugar.

El español Raúl Mestre pudo adaptarse de gran manera a la estructura súper turbo del torneo llegando a disputar la mesa final como chíp líder con 26.000 puntos, seguido por el brasileño Igor Trafane quien se fue eliminado en la tercera posición.

El heads up lo disputó la británica Victoria Coren y Raúl Mestre, siendo este último quien se impuso en una mano donde 4betea all in con A5o y que Coren pagaba con A3o. Totalmente dominada, el board fue 8d9h5dTc6d coronando a Mestre como el campeón de ésta primera edición.
