Republica Checa recibirá este 5 de diciembre la octava temporada del European Poker Tour y lo hará en la hermosa Praga. Jugadores de todos los rincones asistirán a este gran evento incluyendo al chileno Nick Yunis quien lidera el ranking.

Una de las grandes sorpresas que no trae este torneo, será la participación del nuevo miembro del Team Pro PokerStars, Martin Stazsko quien obtuvo el segundo lugar del maint event de la World Series of Poker 2011.

Antes de su paso por las vegas este año, Stazsko solo registraba 5.5 millones de dólares en ganancias, pero luego de sus cobros en los eventos paralelos y el maint event, seguramente será la gran atracción del público local.

Otra curiosidad que tendrá este EPT será la de la apuesta entre el Team Pro checo, Martin Hubry contra su amigo y compañero el eslovaco,Dag Palovic, la cual consiste en ver quién de los dos logra mejor resultado en el Sunday Million que pasó y el de esta semana. El que pierda tendrá que asistir disfrazado a la cita europea y los disfraces que se barajan por el momento son los siguientes: Caperucita Roja, Blancanieves, Travesti, Cowboy, Papá Noel ó Winnetou (un personaje de ficción del escritor alemán Karl May representado por un nativo americano).

Hasta el momento Hugry estaría buscando disfraz, ya que en el último Sunday Million finalizó en la posición 4.475, mientras Palovic fue eliminado a solo 100 puestos de los ITM.
