El día 2 del Punta Cana Poker Classic comenzó con un total de 149 participantes donde destacaba la presencia de los chilenos Andrés Herrera, Patricio Rojas (43.000), Leonel Otazo (257.000), Rodrigo Quezada y Cristian Velásquez, pero lamentablemente los dos últimos cayeron buscando el double up.
La tercera jornada del evento principal estaría marcada por el excelente juego de “gmcrafter” quién tras varios niveles de juego terminaría como líder en fichas con 669.000 puntos seguido por el canadiense Patrick Serda con 667.000 y Miguel Plaza con 559.000.
Recordemos que este torneo reunió un field total de 490 inscripciones entre buy-ins y re-entradas, conformando un pozo a repartir de 712.950$ entre las primeras 50 posiciones.
En esta oportunidad, la burbuja recayó en nuestro amigo Karlo “El Mago” Lopéz quien terminó jugado con AK siendo igualado con TT de su rival y que lo dejó sin entrar en cobros.
Con tres chilenos en competencia, el día 3 del Punta Cana Poker Classic comenzará a las 14:00 horas local y se jugará hasta conocer a los 9 finalistas que lucharán por llevarse el primer lugar y un cheque de 171.100$.

Tras varias horas de juego, solamente Felipe Morbiducci y Diego Vásquez continúan en carrera para la segunda jornada donde solamente 18 jugadores lograrán entrar en cobros.
